With my continued growth of corporate video, I continue to look for new cameras or techniques that will help showcase the clients services.  One of those techniques is time-lapse video.  I am not new to time-lapsing, but the process can be very tricky and time consuming.  Recently, I started working on a project for a local client who is moving into a completely renovated building in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania.  One part the video I am producing is the construction; a long process with many changes taking place.  Time-lapse is a perfect way to illustrate this process without watching hours of footage.

As with any new product or service I offer, it goes through a detailed process of testing.  It has to work in adverse conditions, be able to run for hours and be small enough to not get in the way of workers or machinery.

This specific clip is a time-lapse of a recent snow storm.  I was able to test the different settings in an adverse condition.  It performed as I hoped and am pleased to be adding this to my list of services.

A few years ago, I worked with the Reading Phillies Minor League Baseball team during their All-Star weekend.  This time-lapse was quite a bit more involved, but will show additional posibilities.
